- even, shorn surface
- no pilling (small knots)
Thicknesses We Stock
- 5 mm (± 0.5 mm), approx. 1400–1500 g/m²
- for custom cuts, table felt, and bench cushions
- 3 mm (± 0.3 mm), approx. 840–900 g/m²
- for seat cushions, bench cushions, sleeves, and accessories
- 2 mm (± 0.2 mm), approx. 560 g/m²
- for sleeve linings
Origin and Quality
We use only wool felt from renowned German manufacturers, produced regionally. The wool comes from Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. On request, we supply flame-retardant qualities (B fl - s1 per EN 13501-1, equivalent to German B1) and qualities made from mulesing-free virgin wool — we're also happy to provide lightfastness and hardness specifications for your order. Before we work with it, every felt is checked for thickness, density, and firmness. Only what passes makes it onto the cutting table.
