werktat – derived from the German words Werk (work) and Tat (deed) – stands for honest craftsmanship and genuine materials from our four-person team: Since 2013, we have been designing and manufacturing high-quality products made of wool felt and genuine leather in Germany. Our passion for felt made of pure virgin wool and for cowhide and water buffalo leather is reflected in every product: simple, understated design that deliberately showcases the natural character of the materials. Every single piece is carefully handcrafted in our workshop in Ilsfeld near Heilbronn – durable, sustainable, timeless, and much of it made to measure.
