They provide support where a backrest or headboard is missing, and can be securely mounted. The handcrafted wall cushions bring warmth and comfort to your room – as a padded back for seating, as a decorative wall element, or to protect walls and chairs. They are made from sustainable wool felt. The dense felt not only feels pleasant to the touch – it also absorbs sound and makes for a quieter room.
We developed our screw-fastening specifically for our wall cushions and have it manufactured by abstandshalter-online in Kollmar, Germany: The elegant bracket is screwed to the wall, then you hook in the cushion's eyelets and twist on the cover screw. The result sits firmly, can be flipped at any time – and the stainless steel mount becomes a visible design detail.
Invisible mounting: Prefer a discreet installation where only the cushion is visible? For this, we offer a concealed metal plate with cutouts that simply hooks onto the head of the wall screw. This way, the wall cushion appears to float freely on the wall.

Our wall cushions come in several styles: the classic with its characteristic quilting, or fully padded – both made to your measurements – or as a slim felt wall protection with no padding at all. Round and square wall cushions complete the range. You choose the colors freely for every style – and for all cushions, each side can even be a different color. We're happy to send you 3 mm color samples for the cushions or 5 mm color samples for the wall felt and wall protector to try out beforehand.
Wool felt combines qualities that hardly any other material brings together: it is hard-wearing and keeps its shape, yet feels warm and soft to the touch – ideal for a cushion you lean against every day. The wool balances temperature and moisture, so the wall at your back never feels cold, and thanks to its natural lanolin, the felt is inherently dirt-repellent. All our felts are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
As a padded backrest for the dining bench, as a soft headboard for the bed, or in a reading nook that's made for lingering. Wall cushions also create a welcoming atmosphere in commercial spaces – in waiting rooms, cafés or meeting corners, for example.
Wall cushions also improve room acoustics along the way: sound hits the soft felt fibres and is absorbed rather than bounced back, as it would be off smooth, hard surfaces. This noticeably reduces reverberation and echo, and the padding underneath amplifies the effect. You can use the cushions classically as a backrest – or deliberately as a decorative wall element for sound absorption.
The cushions are made in our workshop in Ilsfeld, in southern Germany. The felt, the mounts and the padding also come from German manufacturers. Because we make and sell everything ourselves, your cushion reaches your wall without any detours.
For regular care, simply vacuuming the felt is enough. Stains are best dabbed off promptly with a damp cloth. This keeps the cushions looking good for years. You can find more details in our care instructions.
