Why do we make our notebooks from leather or felt? Some things get used every day. That's exactly why they should be well made.
A notebook accompanies thoughts, ideas, projects and memories. It sits on your desk, travels in your bag and gets picked up again and again. We believe that something you use this often should be a pleasure – in its craftsmanship, its materials and the way it feels in your hand.
What bothered us about so many notebooks? Printed logos nobody needs. Careless workmanship. Materials that give up after a week. We wanted to do things differently.
That's why we make the covers ourselves – in our own workshop. Every cover is cut, embossed (for the leather ones), stitched and fitted with the details that make everyday life a little easier.
For our notebooks and journals, we use materials that are natural, built to last and full of character.
Not something you find on every corner: a leather with an open, buffed surface. It feels velvety to the touch – and it ages in a way cheap leather never can. Our leather notebooks get their character from the handcrafted genuine leather cover.
Felt notebooks – soft, warm, natural. Felt protects the pages inside, feels pleasant in the hand and has a calm, understated look that suits a notebook. Wool felt is a material you simply grow fond of.

Most models are A5 – handy enough to take along, big enough for proper writing.
The covers are made by our own team in Ilsfeld, in southern Germany – cut, stitched, finished and shipped.
