Traditional drum tanning

Our round mousepad is made from vegetable-tanned neck leather by a German tannery. There, only plant-based tanning agents and traditional drum tanning are used – giving the leather its exceptional suppleness and unmistakable character. The leather is conditioned exclusively with high-quality natural oil, which nourishes it and lends it its characteristic, pleasant scent.

The pads in black and dark brown additionally receive an ultra-thin, water-based sealant. This creates a smooth, calm surface with a subtle silky sheen that makes the aniline-dyed leather look especially refined. The light brown (natural) version, on the other hand, comes entirely without dye or additives – pure, open-pored, with a matte surface.

Deliberately reduced

We deliberately do without decorative stitching and edge paint – the leather speaks for itself. Only our blind embossing finds its place, centered in the middle. Die-cut from 3.5–4.5 mm thick cowhide neck leather, with a cleanly rounded edge.

A piece of leather made to last

In a fast-paced world, this mousepad is a deliberate counterpoint. Over time, it develops a patina, darkens, and gains character – becoming only more valuable. No two pieces are alike.

The rough underside keeps the mousepad firmly in place on your desk. With a diameter of 25 cm (approx. 9.8 inches), it is generously sized.
