High-quality workmanship

Each cushion for Thonet's S 43 cantilever chair consists of three layers: we use 3 mm fine wool felt made of 100% virgin wool for the top and bottom layers, with 20 mm thick padding in between for long-lasting seating comfort. The cushions are sewn with color-coordinated thread – even when different felt colors are used within a single cushion. The discreet werk-tat logo on the side completes the high-quality appearance.

Order color samples to ensure that the cushions perfectly match your interior design or office décor. For a harmonious overall look, we recommend combining either mixed (mottled) or solid colors exclusively.

Seating comfort for cantilever chair Thonet S 43 and S 43 F

The wool felt seat cushions impress with their look and feel. Wool absorbs moisture, dries quickly, and insulates—properties that are pleasant in both hot and cold weather. For the upholstery, we use high-quality foam with firm seating quality and good durability, so you can sit comfortably on your cantilever chair for a long time.

Optional anti-slip coating

On request, we can apply a natural latex coating to the underside. This is applied at a slight distance from the edge of the cushion and remains invisible. It prevents the cushions from slipping on the smooth wooden seat surface or falling off when you stand up. Cushions with anti-slip coating can only be used on one side.

Important note: Since the felt seat cushions are manufactured according to your individual specifications in terms of color and finish, they are custom-made products that cannot be exchanged.
