Bench cushion, custom-made with quilting

The custom-made bench cushion brings structure to your bench: quilted decorative seams divide the cushion into even segments – they mark out seats, accentuate the padding and make long cushions appear shorter. And they're practical too: the cushion folds along the dividing seams for space-saving storage.

How the quilting works

The quilted seams divide the longer side of the cushion into equal sections – you simply choose the number of segments. The foam inside is cut to match the segments, so every seam stays neatly recessed and the cushion keeps its shape. We sew with strong thread from the German manufacturer Amann, colour-matched to the felt. To let the padding do its job, the dividing seams should be at least 20 cm apart.

A bench cushion in your dimensions

You choose the length and width yourself – from 30 × 25 cm up to a maximum of 270 × 80 cm. That way, the bench cushion fits your dining bench, hallway bench, conservatory bench or window sill exactly.

Colours and anti-slip

Choose from 19 colours – if you want to make sure the shade matches your interior, order our 3 mm felt samples in advance. On request, we coat the underside with hand-applied natural latex so the cushion stays securely in place. Good to know: with the coating, the cushion can only be used on one side – without it, the cushion is reversible.

Wool felt doesn't just look good – it performs: it regulates moisture, dries quickly and insulates against heat and cold, keeping you pleasantly warm in winter and comfortable in summer. Every bench cushion is handmade in our workshop, so you can enjoy it for many years to come.
