Suitable for various Ikea Skålsta seat shells

Our seat cushions are suitable for both Skålsta chair designs – as well as for the version with a plastic seat shell and the version with a wooden seat. Thanks to their precise fit, the cushions sit perfectly on both materials and transform your Skålsta chair into a comfortable seat.

High-quality materials for maximum comfort

Each cushion consists of three layers: we use 3 mm fine wool felt made from 100% pure new wool for the top and bottom layers. In between is 20 mm thick padding made from high-quality foam with firm seating quality, which ensures long-lasting seating comfort. We sew each cushion with thread in a matching color—even when there are different felt colors within a single cushion. The discreet werktat logo on the back adds the final touch to each cushion.

Color samples for the perfect choice

To ensure that the cushions perfectly match your interior design, you can order color samples in advance. For a harmonious overall look, we recommend combining either exclusively mixed colors or exclusively uni colors.

The advantages of wool felt

Wool felt not only looks elegant, it also feels great. The material absorbs moisture, dries quickly, and insulates—properties that are pleasant in both hot and cold weather. Cushions without a latex coating can be used on both sides.

Optional: Anti-slip

On request, we can apply a natural latex coating to the underside. This prevents the cushion from slipping on the smooth Skålsta seat shell or falling off when you stand up. The coating is applied with a small margin around the edge and remains invisible. Cushions with anti-slip coating can only be used on one side.

As each cushion is individually manufactured according to your specifications in terms of color and features, it is a custom-made product that cannot be exchanged or returned. Of course, this does not apply to faulty deliveries.
